Winner of the Design of the Year award

With great emotion and pride, we announce that FOR. design planning emerged as the Grand Winner of the 17th edition of the Grands Prix du Design, winning the Design of the Year award for the bar-lounge L’Île Mystérieuse. This honor is further elevated by four additional Grand Prizes, including Best Restaurant, Bar & Lounge > 1,600 sq. ft., as well as Best Offices ≤ 5,400 sq. ft. for the Genetec spaces in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Each year, the Grands Prix du Design celebrates the finest projects in design and architecture. For this 17th edition, over 1,350 submissions were received and reviewed by a jury of 94 professionals from around the world. L’Île Mystérieuse was selected as Design of the Year, the highest award in interior design, and was a true favorite among jury members. They felt that the project’s design beautifully captured the client's vision and the maritime adventure of Jules Verne.

As for the Genetec workspaces in Dubai, the experiential room impressed the judges with its immersive atmosphere, where lighting changes color according to the client presentation. The offices feature alcove seating, a foosball table, and unassigned workspaces that combine luxury and opulence to appeal to the local scene in the United Arab Emirates.
